TIG welding
SPARTUS ProTIG 225P AC/DC offers the full range of TIG AC and TIG DC welding, with a choice between non-contact high-frequency (HF) arc ignition and the Lift method. Thanks to the TIG Pulse function with a wide range of adjustable parameters, the machine is ideal for welding thin sheets, aluminum, and stainless steel, ensuring full control over the weld pool and excellent weld appearance.
The machine is equipped with functions that support the TIG welding process, including:
• AC waveform selection: square, sinusoidal, and triangular – for optimal adjustment of arc characteristics to the welded material.
• Advanced parameter settings: AC balance (10–99%), AC frequency (50–250 Hz), pulse frequency (0.5–999 Hz), pulse width, and pulse current.
• Precise arc dynamics control: adjustable upslope and downslope times, as well as start and end current settings (in 4T mode).
• SPOT welding: precise execution of short, repeatable welds.
• 2T/4T operating modes: increase operator comfort for both short and long weld runs.
MMA welding
SPARTUS ProTIG 225P AC/DC enables MMA welding with both direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC) in the 10–200 A range, allowing the use of a wide variety of coated electrodes and welding of different steel grades.
The machine is equipped with functions that enhance arc stability and operator comfort:
• Hot Start – facilitates arc ignition, especially with electrodes that are difficult to strike, while minimizing the risk of the electrode sticking to the material.
• Arc Force – automatically stabilizes the arc during welding, preventing it from going out when the electrode-to-material distance changes.
• MMA AC mode – enables effective welding of certain aluminum grades and alloys in situations where TIG methods are not optimal.

This feature significantly reduces setup time, especially for repetitive tasks or frequent switching between different methods and materials. Thanks to intuitive operation, saving settings is simple, giving the welder confidence that every subsequent weld will be performed with optimal parameters – without the need to re-enter all values.
